• How Can I Test Aweber Opt-In Form Pages (aka Squeeze Pages)
I asked Aweber this question directly and here is their response.

Mike Humphreys: Is there a way to hide or cloak the opt-in redirect URL?

You are now speaking with Ron Givens of AWeber Customer Solutions.

Mike Humphreys: I'm trying to test the effectiveness of a squeeze page

Mike Humphreys: But people can just do a 'view source' to get the address of the page where they would go without having to give up their email address

Mike Humphreys: Any suggestions?

Ron Givens: Do you have an Aweber form on your site?

Ron Givens: Are you using the raw html?

Mike Humphreys: Yes and yes.

Ron Givens: If you use the javascript, you cannot see the redirect.

Mike Humphreys: Will I still be able to tweak the form on the web page in my webdesign software for positioning, font color? Or will I have to do everything inside Aweber and get the javascript code?

Ron Givens: If you can make all those adjustments within your web site CSS. That can alter the appearance of the javascript, but you or your designer would need to do that.

Mike Humphreys: Okay, one more question. If I'm doing a split test/multi-variate test on where the opt-in form is on the page -- say the left side vs the right side of the page, would I need to create two different javascript forms or could I "alter" the position for the testing via CSS?

Ron Givens: two different forms

Mike Humphreys: Okay, thank you so much for your time Ron.

Ron Givens: You are most welcome.

Ron Givens: Thank you for using AWeber Live Chat, Mike Humphreys.
Have a great day.
